Astra Nova Maritime OPC Private Limited is an Indian maritime company providing professional Ship Management, Crew Management, Technical Management, Ship Broking, Chartering, Marine Consultancy and Compliance Services. Our commitment is to deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective maritime solutions while maintaining the highest international standards of safety, quality and environmental protection.
The company is registered as a One Person Company under the Companies Act and operates from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, serving owners and operators worldwide. Our work is carried out by Master Mariners and Chief Engineers who have held rank at sea, supported by crewing, accounts and compliance staff.
We were formed around a straightforward observation: most operational failures at sea are not technical surprises. They are handover failures, procurement delays, certificate calendars nobody owned, or a crew change booked too late. Those are shore-side problems, and they are solved by shore-side discipline.
So we keep the office lean and senior. The person who reads your monthly report is the person who approves the purchase orders and speaks to the Master. Nothing is delegated to a coordinator who has never been to sea.

I have spent my career at sea and ashore watching the same avoidable problems repeat: a certificate that lapsed because no one owned the calendar, a spare that was ordered too late, a crew member who joined without knowing which ship they were going to.
Astra Nova Maritime exists to close that gap. We keep the team small and senior, we put our reporting in front of the owner whether the news is good or not, and we make sure the people onboard are paid correctly and relieved on time.
