What you can expect from the office.
Wages paid on the agreed date, allotments that reach your family, and a contract that ends when it says it ends. Relief is planned weeks ahead, not confirmed the night before, and if a delay is unavoidable you hear the reason from a person.
Officers who sail well with us are offered the same vessel back. Promotion is tracked against appraisals and sea time, not against who happens to be available.
